Prayers for Priests

God the Father of Mercies, do thou assist thy holy priesthood throughout the world.  Draw them ever closer to thee by thy grace, so that by faithful reflection of the Sacred Heart of thy Son and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, they may bring about the sanctification of souls and at last attain the everlasting reward of Heaven, through the same Christ Our Lord.

Earthly Shepherds

Here on Earth
You've been given the staff
To guide and comfort
And nurture our souls
To keep us entrusted
To our Heavenly Shepherd
You think not of yourselves
O Keeper of our souls
Leading us to salvation
With your words
You point us to our Savior
With humility and servitude
Help to open the gates
And bring us to Him
Sheep gathered
In gratitude
To our Earthly Shepherds.
